The title of Pastor John Oerter’s sermon for the week of February 09, 2014 is Salt, Light and the Law based on scriptures from Matthew 5: 13 – 20.  The hymns for Sunday are When Morning Gilds the Skies and When I Survey the Wondrous Cross.

Worship begins at 9:45 am, followed by education and fellowship at 11:00 a.m.  Our church provides a Nursery during worship service.  First Presbyterian Church is located at 919 E. Tenth Street in Rolla.  Our website is www.rollapresby.org.

The church office will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2014 in observance of President’s Day.

February is our designated Boy Scout Celebration Month.  We will honor Leaders and Scouts, especially anyone who received their Eagle badge with Troop 83 on February 16 during worship and fellowship.

February 16 is Chili Cook-off with Western theme at 5:00 pm in the fellowship hall.  Please dress in your western gear and be ready for an evening of campfire songs, square dancing, and sideline cheering.
