The title of Pastor John Oerter’s sermon for the week of August 11, 2013 is Thief Jesus …or … Pragmatic Eschatology based on scriptures from Luke 12: 32-40. The hymns for Sunday are Immortal, Invisible, God Only Wise; Open My Eyes That I May See and This is My Father’s World.

Upcoming Events: Church float trip on the Big Piney will be August 24; Children’s Swim Party at the Cottingham’s 1:30 – 4:00 pm on August 25; Sunday School kick-off September 8; Adult class “Honoring God” from the book of Timothy will be in the Journey classroom, children 11 and up in the Sadler Lounge, and children 10 and under in the upstairs Sunday School classroom.
