The title of Pastor John Oerter’s sermon for the week of July 14, 2013 is God’s Gut … and Yours based on scriptures from Luke 10: 25 – 37. The hymns for Sunday are God of Grace and God of Glory, and Help Us Accept Each Other.

Our 150th anniversary is coming up May 15, 2014. Activities will be planned throughout the year. Please watch for information in the bulletin, on the web and through special mailings.
We are still in search of old pictorial directories. The Committee plans to honor 50+ year members of the church at a special ceremony. If you are or know of someone who is a 50+ year member, please contact Betti Jo in the office.
There are still a couple disaster buckets to be filled and returned by August 4th. They are located in the hallway across from the office.
The Rolla Back to School Fair is scheduled for August 7. Please drop your donation bottles of Elmer’s School Glue in the box in the hallway. Monetary donations are also welcome. The Mission Committee will be happy to shop for you.
We are still accepting donations of gently used tennis and casual shoes for the giveaway at Salem Avenue Baptist Church’s Shoe Closet on July 27th.
